This Wednesday Baltimore Dorkbot will be hosting digital artist Steven Silberg. Silberg’s work centers on the pixel, processing still and video imagery pixel by pixel into new forms. See his website for more information.

Afterwards we’ll open up the group for folks that want to share projects that they’ve been working on. The meetup will be hosted at Baltimore Node on 120 W. North Ave in the Load of Fun building (Across from Joe Squared), come out and share!

Next Dorkbot: Kelley Bell, Samuel Burt, and Jon Lesser

The next Bmore Dorkbot meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30 from 7 – 9 pm at the Creative Alliance.

This month, we are very excited to feature presentations from the following:

Hydra, by Kelley Bell

Kelley Bell – Hydra

Kelley Bell is an animator, graphic designer, and educator who is often willing to make mistakes and other interesting experiments. Hydra has been a guest of the Ralleigh Arts Space, the Transmodern Festival, the 14k Cabaret and Artscape, all in Baltimore MD.

Samuel Burt

Samuel Burt – Composer

A composer of generative musical processes and improvisor expanding the vocabulary of clarinet technique, Samuel Burt has performed with Mobtown Modern, Geodesic Gnome, Second Nature and Death in the Maze. He is a board member of the High Zero Foundation, and a founder of After Now, a Baltimore composer series.

Baltimore Fiber

Jon Lesser- Google Fiber
Jon Lesser is a web developer at the Alliance for Climate Protection.He helped found the Baltimore Node hackerspace in 2009 and is currently working to bring Google’s community fiber pilot to Baltimore. Jon will discuss the online tools and organizing strategy behind bmorefiber.com.
